The rain looks like it is holding off, so we will march in the parade.
However, in the interest of keeping the kids warm and not damaging the uniforms, we will wear the same attire we did for the game last – Hoodies and jeans. The hoodie must be the outer layer, no jackets on top of the hoodie.
See you all at 1:30!
Congratulations go out to the 2015 Cheval Guard and our 2015 Petite Guard!

All auditionees are praised for their progress during the season, and if you did not receive a place this season, please join us in April when we begin training for our 2015 Fall Cheval Guard!
Both guards rehearse Tuesday, December 2: Petite at 3:30 and Cheval at 5:30. All members will receive their contracts and season schedules that day.
Congratulations, everyone! We’re in for an Amazing Season!!
Since our November Band Booster meeting is scheduled for Tuesday November 11th, the kids do not have school and Mr. Harris is at a NCMEA Conference. We decided to send updates through email Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you everyone who worked the Carolina Classic, in the past three years this has been the most bands we have had. We are hoping to have more next year. After expenses we made around $8,500. It would not have been possible without everyone’s help.
There is a Wind Ensemble Concert on Thursday, November 13th at 7pm at Unity Presbyterian Church. Mr. Harris will let the kids know what time they need to be there. We will be pulling the winner of the raffle tickets at that time.
Please turn in all money and unused raffle tickets by Wednesday, November 12th. We are hoping this will be a good fundraiser that we can do annually.
Lincolnton Christmas Parade is on Sunday November 30th. Denver Christmas Parade is on Saturday December 6th. Mr. Harris will let the kids know the times once we get closer.
We are planning a fish fry in December. We are trying to schedule it for the same evening as the Middle School Christmas Concert.
We have number of students that owe band fees. We need these fees paid as they are important for our program to continue. Please make arrangements so we can get the outstanding balance down. As with last year, we will need band fees current or arrangements must be made for kids to attend the Band Formal. The Band formal is February 7th.
This Friday, November 14th is our first playoff game. We need volunteers for the concession stand starting on Friday, November 21st. It is one way to enjoy the game and stay warm. Please contact Dee Carver at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help out. The kids signed up for Pep Band A And Pep Band B. Mr. Harris will go over this with the kids on Wed. When he returns to school.
Sunday November 16th is a Panther Combine, please sign up if you can help out. We have three more games (unless they make the playoffs) let’s make sure we get that bonus. As of right now we have 5 people signed up for it. You can email me or sign up in Charms.
